The most common seating layout at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 110, Section 111 and Section 112. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Floor: Sections Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 3 and Floor 4 are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 108, Section 109 and Section 119. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 101, Section 102, Section 126 and Section 201 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 110, Section 111, Section 112 and Section 113. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections Club 106 and Club 122 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 211 and 222.

The lower level corners are split awkwardly due to the designated club sections. Sections 105 and 123 are awkwardly tucked in with the side sections. To access these sections you will enter through the main concourse and not through a corner tunnel entry. This lower portion is rows 1-14 and are the best seats in this location. The rest of the lower level corner can be accessed through the tunnels on the mezzanine level and provide a view that is elevated above the stage. These seats are a good spot to be able to take in the entire concert while not being up close and personal with the artist on stage.
Outside of the floor, the side sections are some of the most intimate for a concert experience at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The reason for this is due to their smaller size (only 14 rows) and low elevation in relation to the stage. To access these sections, fans will walk through a tunnel from the main concourse underneath the club level sections. There is one flight of steps to walk down to these seats.
Some of the furthest views in the stadium will come from the upper level corner stadium. For the best views, try to stay within the first 3 rows of the section to avoid having to go up higher in the section. Corner sections have 17 rows in them. Each row has several steps between them creating far views for fans sitting up near the top.
The upper level end location is made up of 5 locations located directly across the arena from a standard end stage setup. There are 17 rows in each section with the first row located directly above the 200 level suites. These sections are best for fans who want a head on viewing experience and are looking to be friendlier to their wallets.
The Upper Level Side sections at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse have 17 rows. There are two steps between each row creating a steeper walk for those sitting at the top of the sections. To avoid having to walk up or down a bunch of steps, look close to row 3 where the tunnel from the concourse comes into the section.
Also known as the Baseline Straights, sections 106-109 and 119-122 are among the best sections for being close to the action. With only floor sections separating these from the court, you can be just mere feet from the players. The first row in each of these sections is labeled with the number 1. Each section contains 14 rows with the entrance to each section located at the top. For the best views of the Cavs bench, look at sections 121-122 which are located on the opposite side. If you prefer to be located behind the bench, section 106 is the best option.
Prior to the renovations at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, these used to be some of the largest sections in the arena covering nearly two levels. Since the changes, these sections have been isolated to the lower corners. Among these sections, you'll want to completely avoid the lower portions of 105, 110, 118 and 123. Rows 1-14 in these sections are located at floor level, but they have some of the worst sightlines among 100 level sections. When considering other corner sections, continue to choose higher rows for the best experience. Despite being at floor level, the first rows in sections 103, 112, 116 and 125 are a dozen rows from the court. Save some money and sit higher in the section where you'll have better looks at the other side of the court and where you'll be closer to the concourse tunnel.
While lower level seats near center court are nothing short of amazing, corner and baseline sections fall well short of that description. These 100 level sections are all located behind a set of floor sections on either side of the court. So though your ticket may read row 1 in a 100 level section, you'll actually be more than a dozen rows from the hardwood. Sections 101 and 114 should be completely avoided given their position behind the baskets. It will be difficult to determine whether shots are made or missed and seeing the other side of the court will be near impossible. While these seats don't offer ideal views of the court, this is usually the least expensive way to sit in a 100 level section. If that's important to you, choose seats in Rows 10-16 in sections 102, 113, 115 or 126. They're not directly behind the basket - allowing you to see the other end - and they're close to the section tunnel which makes it easy to get in and out of your section.
The Mezzanine Baseline sections at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse are going to be the most affordable tickets on the Mezzanine level. Fans in these sections will have a baseline view, meaning they will be behind the basket, and this could cause some obstruction. However, given the increased elevation the view is definitely better in the upper rows. If you do not want to be seated directly behind the basket we recommend avoiding sitting in sections M101 and M114.
The Mezzanine Corners at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse are going to be just above the lower corner sections. These sections offer some of the best value on the Mezzanine level since they won't be as expensive as the sideline sections, but offer a better view than the baseline sections. Each section has between 6 and 14 rows of seating and the corner angle gives fans a unique view of all the action.
